    The duties for this Technical Project Management Specialist I include but are not limited to:
    • Prepares test scenarios and test plans
    • Tests new and modified software application changes that are used within a large scale system using a structured user acceptance and quality assurance testing methodology
    • Documents changes and develops technical and instructional synopsis of changes to the application on time and in compliance with standard formats
    • Creates documents in MS Word for inclusion within the automated document system
    • Participates in technical work groups to help establish business roles and logic to new system enhancements 
    • Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience,AND:

      • 18 months experience in software application testing at end user level or technical systems documentation experience


      • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
      • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
      • Customer service
      • Strong writing skills

      Advertised Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to engage in repetitive motions; finger dexterity required. Ability to communicate including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others. Ability to hear including receiving detailed information orally, see including color, depth perception and clarity and sit.

      Departmental Preferences:

      • Experience in quality control or user acceptance testing of a PowerBuilder computer application and WebFocus
      • Experience working with subject matter experts to document application (software) changes
      • Experience with team work assignments
      • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
      • Strong analytical and writing skills

      Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
