We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development.     The Learning Business Analyst is responsible for creating data collection tools and strategies, extracting data and conducting statistical analysis and reporting for learning and development activities and outcomes.
     
    Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Collects and compiles data from learner engagement, feedback, performance measures, and other sources
    • Creates detailed routine and ad hoc reports accurately and in a timely manner
    • Extracts data from various databases, collaborating with various internal and external partners as needed
    • Assesses overall impact and effectiveness of learning programs
    • Supports design of data requirements and development of learning surveys and other collection tools
    • Creates analytic frameworks and sets best practices, including development of tools, reports, and dashboards
    • Other analyst duties as assigned

    Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:

    • 6 months experience in Business Analysis

    Skills:

    • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English
    • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
    • Strong initiative to solve problems
    • Knowledge of and experience with Access and Excel software including advanced functions
    • Ability to evaluate learning data and produce comprehensive reports
    • Knowledge of the Kirkpatrick Model of Training Evaluation
    • Must be able to perform basic data analysis

    Advertised Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to communicate including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others. Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of hands, wrists, or fingers. Ability to sit for short or extended time periods.

    Departmental Preferences:

    • Masters degree in social science or business/public administration
    • Experience conducting evaluation of training programs and learning outcomes
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems
    • 18 months data collection, analysis and complex reporting
    • Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software (i.e. SQL, SAS, SPSS, Python)

    Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
